June Bug's Gym Offers Children's Tumbling Classes in Santa Cruz...
June Ralston founded Junebug’s Gym in November of 2008. She was looking to create a positive, fun and supportive environment to give children self confidence and self esteem in themselves. She hopes to help children find joy in movement and being fit.
With over 20 years of experience working with the preschool aged child, June has focused her efforts in large motor skill development.
June comes from a background of competitive gymnastics, ballet, modern dance, theater and horse vaulting at an international level. She brings her joy of movement and imagination to every class.
June continues to take classes at Cabrillo College’s Early Childhood Education Department to further her learning, as well as, stay current in all mechanisms to working with children.
“I enjoy watching children learn new ways to move their bodies. Children have this natural desire to jump, hang, balance, run, roll, etc. and my goal is to bring children to a place where they feel in control of their bodies and themselves. I feel strongly about the importance of children learning fundamental motor skills. Preschool gymnastics and basic motor development sets a foundation for a positive experience to be active and fit. More importantly, brain development is greatly enhanced through early motor skill development.”
Junebug’s Gym is a place for children ages walking to six years old. It’s a place where children can be comfortable and build their self-esteem through their sense of accomplishment. I include activities in each and every class designed to give children that feeling. I create an environment that is respectful to every child and is positive and encouraging. Children are exposed to a large variety of movement in every class. Activities include circle-time, obstacle courses, song, dance, manipulatives-(scarves, ribbons, beanbags, hoops, etc), parachute and basic gymnastics skills on floor, beam, bars, trampoline and vault.
Barry of Tumbling Tutor
Barry Brooks, a world-renowned acrobat, created Tumbling Tutor in 2002. His goal is to create a company that brings his expertise and excitement to the convenience of your preschool, day care, elementary school or home.
Serving Santa Cruz County and surrounding areas, Tumbling Tutor is a mobile program that focuses on the preschool aged child.

With over 20 years of professional acrobat experience, Barry started gymnastics at an early age. He has performed in shows like the world-famous Folies Bergere and Siegfried and Roy. He is an award-winning acrobat choreographer and is a Colorado State Tumbling Champion.
Tumbling Tutor, bringing tumbling to you since 2002, was created to bring a positive, safe and fun experience to you. Barry wants to help children establish a base for the future in fitness and health through movement at an early age.
