Please read through our gym policies and become familiar with the rules, guidelines, and procedures to help make your experience at Junebugs Gym a positive one. We add to and clarify our policies from time to time to better meet the needs of our clients and staff.
JuneBug’s Gym class fees are billed on the 1st and charged on the 10th of each month. Please sign in to the iClassPro Customer Portal found on our website to set up your account. Auto payment is required. A $10 late fee will be added to all late payments. A $15 fee will be added to all returned checks.
If the 10th of the month passes and we have not received payment or notification from you to drop from class, your child will lose his/her space in the class and your account will be billed for the month that we had reserved for your child. If you plan to drop your child’s class, we require a two week notice. Please review our Policies and procedure for dropping classes.
For your child’s safety we require families add additional guardians (child care providers/family members) responsible for bringing your child to class to your iClass Pro profile. If an individual is not listed on your profile as a guardian then staff will not share information with that individual regarding your account status, any personal or payment information, or your child’s enrollments or attendance record. We will allow unlisted individuals to purchase gift certificates for families and watch class with approved guardians present.
Please do not bring your child if they have a fever, runny nose, continuous cough or undiagnosed rash. See our Make Up Policy below regarding missed classes. Thank you!
To drop a student from class, parents must notify the gym at least 2 weeks in advance. Only a written notice via email, drop request via your iClassPro Customer Portal, or verbal notice to our front desk will be acceptable.
You are responsible for payment of your student’s classes whether or not your student attends class until the time that you inform us with your two-week notice to drop. If a student stops coming to class without notification, then that student’s account will be charged for the entirety of that month and they will lose their spot in the class.
In order to ensure that we are able to accommodate as many students as we can, we ask that all participants arrive on time for class, follow directions from the instructors, join us for circle time, share equipment, and willingly comply with our gym safety rules. Resistance in complying with our class rules will result in a “break”– during which a student may be required to sit with parents and watch class.
We offer our members one make-up opportunity per month (per child, per class) through the iClassPro Customer Portal in the form of a Make-Up Token. You will need to notify the office staff or record future absence(s) in your iClass Pro Portal at least one hour prior to missing your class in order to earn a Make Up Token. Your Make-Up Token may be used during a similar level class day/time or be exchanged for 1 hour of Open Gym. Please Note: Your token will become available for exchange in your account after the missed class occurs.
Missed classes without at least a one hour notice will not count as an excused absence and will not be eligible for a Make-Up Token. We rely on members communicating absences to determine if we have space in our classes to accommodate students looking to enroll in a Make-Up class! For this reason we ask that you inform us whenever you anticipate missing class even if you have already earned your allowance of one monthly Make-Up.
Make-Up classes are given only where space is available and must be scheduled within 30 days from the day that you missed class. Due to full class sizes, we encourage members to take advantage of Open Gym hours to redeem Make-Up Tokens.
Parents! Your account will not be adjusted or prorated for any classes missed as we have hired instructors to teach the class your child signed up for whether or not they choose to attend. Make-up tokens are not transferable or “resellable” to other members or non-members. Questions? Please call, 831-464-2847.
Students should wear a leotard or t-shirt, and gym shorts or pants. The most important consideration in clothing is freedom of movement. Extremely loose or baggy clothing and jeans should be avoided. Students should not wear socks on the gym floor unless they have rubber grippies on the bottom. If your child has long hair, please remember to bring a hair tie.
For the safety of the children, no gum chewing or excessive jewelry is allowed.
Please arrive 5 minutes before (no earlier please) your child’s scheduled class time and pick up your child on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your child. Instruct your child to wait inside the building. At all times, you should escort your child between the building and your car. Be aware that our students include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your child running to and from your car!
Please check in at the front desk when you arrive to ensure accurate roll.
We welcome parents and friends to watch your child’s class. However, we ask that you not coach or talk to your child while in class, talk loudly with others, or talk on your cell phone. This is to limit distractions for our students.
Please remember a water bottle for your child! If you have forgotten a water bottle there is a child-safe water dispenser available in the waiting area. Please use it sparingly and limit your child to one cup. Do not allow children to play with the water dispenser.
In parent participation classes, we limit one care-giver on the floor per child. No food or drink is ever allowed on the floor.
Please have your child to class on time. The warm-up segment is an essential part of our class structure and late arrival causes disruption.
We offer 10% sibling discounts to families with more than one enrolled child or to students enrolled in more than one class per week. These discounts are automatically applied on check out in your Customer Portal.
PLEASE NOTE: Our coaches and staff work hard to keep parents informed of class time changes, gym closures, and schedule changes though our website, social media, emails, and flyers posted at the gym. However, it is difficult to reach 100% of our families 100% of the time and your participation in staying informed will go a long way in limiting surprises. We recognize that mistakes happen and communication can get scrambled in spite of our best efforts. Should you believe there is an error in your account, please bring it to our attention and we will work to correct. We appreciate all of our wonderful JuneBug Gym families. Respecting the hard working staff who are here to make your experience valuable and fun is much appreciated.
We hope you enjoy your experience at JuneBug’s Gym!
